"The staff make you feel so welcome when you arrive and throughout your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is delicious with several options for hot food and a buffet of cold food. Lovely views from the dining room too. We missed the free afternoon homemade cake the first day so they made my husband gluten free flapjacks and put them on our breakfast table the next day. They were fully aware of coeliac disease. It is a pleasant walk into Keswick although a few hills. There is free parking at the hotel. I would have no hesitation in booking the hotel again, although next time I would book a larger room. We stayed in room 2, which had a bath and a hand held shower attachment, which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues."

"Excellent location and lovely property internally. Could do with a BBQ and some of the outdoor area is a little tired. Brilliant stay though and the decor and feel of the property is very homely"

"While the room was clean it wasn’t very good in the corners. Doors couldn’t be left open and found this a safety issue as they shut very quickly. The shower was new but the rail the shower head was on was in a really stupid place also it was on the curve of the bath a safety issue we also had to request a bath mat which was quickly fixed. The balcony was lovely chairs and table provided but dirt in all the corners. The tv was a pain to get on. The on site shop and cafe weren’t ever open this sounds awful but it was a really friendly experience the staff were really friendly we bought door wedges for the doors naughty I know but only used them when in. Would certainly go back as the area was lovely xxx"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Keswick . Sunnycroft is an ideal holiday let for larger groups and families. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with a nice garden at the rear of the property to sit out in on summer evenings. Note the house is situated on a busy road junction and there is a significant amount of traffic noise at the front of the property especially when the windows are open. While there is plenty of parking at the side of the house , exiting the driveway can be a challenge during busy periods. There is no provision for outdoor cooking so adding a BBQ would be a nice addition."

"We had a brilliant break at Riverside Cottage, three adults and a dog. The location is really handy, being next to the Threlkeld to Keswick path, 10 minutes from the town centre. The cottage is really well-equipped and we enjoyed the garden. Great to have a boot room because we got soaked a few times!We have a large car - VW Tiguan - and found parking to be absolutely fine. There's enough space for at least one additional car. It is a tight turn but nothing to worry about."
