"This beachfront unit is beautiful and comfortable. Easy access to beach, pool and walking distance to local restaurants.Easy check in. Well appointed. Would suggest a dead bolt on the outside door for added security while inside the condo. Also would have appreciated some beach chairs for guest use. We loved it."

"The property management team, Shalley's Seashells, was awesome. Ally was great every time I spoke with hre regarding preplanning, but best of all was Emily! She greeted us, helped bring our groceries upstairs, and had one of the brightest smiles I've ever seen. This team was extremely responsive, which is critical on a barrier island connected to the mainland only by ferry. The grocery service executed perfectly and when we had a couple of problems with the water and the TV access, they were resolved immediately. I've been going to North Captiva since 1998 and have NEVER had a team that was as responsive and great to work with as that of Shalley's Seashells!"

From the beginning, communication with the hosts was super clear, friendly, and full of empathy. they truly cared about making our stay perfect. The house is in a fantastic location and has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful family vacation. The pool was amazing, the rooms were spacious and spotless. We found everything we needed and felt right at home. If I ever come back to the island, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything "

"If you want to be close to the water and beach, hear the waves, enjoy the sunset, this is place to stay on North Captiva! No other place is closer, or has a better view. Big on the Beach is it! Thanks to Bob and Wendy the place was ready for occupancy. They picked us up at the docks, carted our luggage to the house, and gave us a comprehensive orientation of all this spectacular house has to offer. When our week was up, Bob and Wendy were again there to help. Thank you! The house was immaculate and well suited for super large groups like our own. It offered plenty of beds and convenient bathrooms for all of us. And the kitchen is well equipped for fixing large meals or casual snacks for large groups. Much thanks to Bob and Wendy for making this a pleasant family vacation, and to Stephanie (the owner) for sharing her wonderful house and spectacular location with us. We love Big on the Beach!"
