"We like the pool and the beach in front of the hotel, nice bar and foods there. The bed is comfortable, nice size. Unfortunately our room’s AC didn’t work properly so it was a bit hot. Otherwise we had a good time at there. "

"Big Mahalo to the staff at Royal Kona Resort. We were greeted by a friendly team member at the front desk and pleasantly surprised that they upgraded our room and provided a bottle of champagne as it was our wedding anniversary. Rooms do feel a bit dated and the resort buildings are undergoing a much needed facelift. None of that detracted from our stay. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping in very close walking distance. Big shoutout to Autumn at the Don’s Mai Tai bar in the hotel. She provided excellent service and was engaging in our many visits…and she makes a fantastic 1945 Mai Tai. Absolutely a great experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again. "

"Great location close to Kailua-Kona. Amazing views of the ocean. The common area with pool and bbq was very well done. Enjoyed watching sunsets every night and coffee on the lanai every morning. "
