"Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. "We had the opportunity to have our wedding on the property. Candi host made this event as smooth and easy as one could ever ask for the property and its facilities were absolutely perfect. Our event was the magical moment that my wife and I and our entire family had hoped it would be and the property is amazing. The pictures of the property in the listing do not do it the justice it deserves, and we look forward to the opportunity to come back."

"We dined at Piko for dinner twice. The food was okay, but could be better. I think in 2026 it’s time to introduce a dedicated mocktail menu, rather than asking folks to just pick an alcohol cocktail and do the math on wanting to remove the spirits and see what happens. The room was fine, I appreciated all the bed side plug in options. The pool was excellent :)"

"This property’s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarah’s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn you’ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property. At night is very dark and the closest place for diner is 30’ away down town so plan to buy before you get back from your excursions if you don't want to drive at night. Every single beach near and far has opportunity for snorkeling but bring proper water shoes. Overall we liked the property but we are pretty easy to please. Highly recommend the boat tours!"

"Beautiful property with a very responsive host; unfortunately, not very clean.My daughter and I thought the house is lovely, and the setting with the fruit trees and views of the ocean in the distance was delightful.For the nightly price of this house, one expects basic level of cleanliness, but we found dusty areas in the bathroom, staircase, and even bedside lamps that we could not avoid touching. Many of the dishes and mugs we took out from the cabinets were dirty and the pots and pans were a jumble in one cabinet. Other places we have stayed at in this price range also provide body wash, shampoo, hand wash but this property does not. If we had been prepared for this, it may have been less disappointing.Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of the large windows, lovely views, fruit trees, very responsive host, and the ability to bring our dog."
