"The room although old fashioned (what do you expect in such an old property), was clean, warm and comfortable. The owner very happy to help with any requirements. And the breakfast was excellent made fresh after seating, the sausages are particularly good."

"A reminder that you don’t get a lot for your money these days. Twin room - cheap narrow beds, very noisy plumbing system in the room and from other rooms, noisy outside, tiny shower. Included breakfast not worth mentioning."

"We had a really pleasant stay ahead of an early flight the following morning. Comfy bed, great staff and nice biscuits."

"I’ve stayed at the Mason’s Arms twice now, and both times it’s been exceptional. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is fantastic. I’ll go out of my way to stay here in future."

"A very disappointing stay. We booked a deluxe sea view (with large bay window) double or twin room via Expedia. On arrival at the hotel we did not get the room we booked and paid for. All the staff were cheery, friendly and helpful --we had a problem with the TV, the receptionist came up and sorted it straightaway. A very...

"Lovely place right by the sea with super friendly staff. Parking also with your room and good food. Hotel is what you expect for the price but staff are wonderful. I don’t like electric showers as you can’t get heating right on them. But that’s normal for these older hotels. Would happily stay again."

"It was very well equipped and comfortable beds."

"A very comfortable hotel in an ideal location. We opted for a sea view room. Great to have on site parking."

"Nice location and property"
