"There are 3 Adults Myself and 2 young ladies with LD I cannot fault the staff Everyone was very friendly and very helpful Our family room was very nice and big with a big bathroom Beds were comfortable the only negative was it was the room was cold but the temperature outside was very cold so it didn't help. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent Breakfast was included in our stay Which again was excellent Definitely recommend "

"The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept reasonably well. Could have done with better sound proofing as we could hear next door snoring all night and talking otherwise no problems "

"We had to walk up 42 steps to get to our room carrying our baggage. The place is adequate but dated and the hot water difficult to adjust safely. A window in our room was ajar and there was rot and mold around the frame which caused us to leave it that way. There is no one attending the front desk as the person who checked us in did double duty in the restaurant. The food was fine. "

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The building is beautiful and attractive. I last stayed there in 1976 and it has changed a lot. The rooms are now all en-suite, which wasn't the case 49 years ago. The room in which I stayed was fantastically quiet and the bathroom was beautiful! "We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. We decided to have the Continental breakfast on our last morning which is all self service with a lot of choice. The staff were very attentive."

"Excellent cooked to order breakfast and a good selection of wines and champagnes at very reasonable prices. Room was clean and comfortable with crisp sheets and comfy pillows. Great for a short stay."
