"This was the worst experience I have ever had with an Expedia property. The hotel was ranked a 4 star, and is at best a 2 start. It was filthy, had no elevator or air conditioning. The rooms were dismal and there was no way to raise the window to let in air to address the stifling heat. But mostly it was dirty and worn. The carpet and curtains were disgusting. We wanted to leave our luggage the next day because we had a train at 5pm, but we were told the hotel does not accommodate tourists...

"We asked for a late check out and even though the hotel was absolutely empty - (we were the only two people at breakfast in a room that could seat 100) the hotel still denied a late checkout (personally I think 11am checkout is too early) so we were charged an extra £20 for a 12pm checkout. When the room costs £500 per night this is totally outrageous. The hotel was empty so it would have been a nice gesture to offer a 1pm checkout given at most high end hotels 12pm is standard. Very...
