Some narrow streets to negotiate but one its done easy to find Room very clean and bed comfortable Breakfast was good especially the full English hotel central and Shrewsbury is an excellent walking city"
"The staff were cheerful, and helpful. The bedrooms were clean, comfy, with large T.V. Modern ensuite bathroom with choice of bath or shower, AND quality toilet paper. If I was being picky, the only thing thing the bedroom lacked was a fridge and a lift to the 2nd floor. The hotel is also dog friendly and allowed in the bar area if you want food. The hotel carpark, was also operated by a barrier which gave piece of mind. I would definitely use the hotel again if stopping in the area."

"Lovely location in the middle of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, ideal for touring (which is what I was doing). Large pub with extensive menu and large garden. They even had a family fun event taking place in the glorious sunshine. Breakfast cooked to order - excellent.

"I stayed for two nights at the end of may and the first thing I liked was easy access well sign posted parking.
The house itself is directly opposite the old castle with its impressive mote complete with moorhens and ducks with their baby ducklings.
The house itself is a curious mix of antique and modern but is fascinating to look at.
From its old jukebox box, I should have asked if it worked, to the two triumph herald bonnet card holders on the reception table.

"A very warm and friendly welcome. Louise was a great host. Location was quiet/good @ 5 mins easy walk from main town centre/activities. Breakfast was very good with good selection. Would recommend it highly. Would request stay again if we found ourselves in the area again."
"The rooms were clean, didn't see any staff but was able to get in touch to get directions on assessing the property. The grounds provided a nice walk. Pool was closed but didn't have time to use it anyway."
