"Extremely Disappointing We stayed for 4 nights at the Prince Rupert - as a designated 4 star we were expecting it to be substantially than the Premier Inn/Travelodge type establishments we typically stay at. The cost was just under £200 more that the local (better located) premier inn. We were bitterly disappointed. There is lots to tell about the bedroom. It was very small and a very strange shape having been fitted into an awkward corner of the hotel; the room layout bore no relationship...

"Property a little dates in the rooms"

"It was a very hot day. The room was small but they did what they could to reduce the heat curtains were shut fan was on bar having air con they had tried. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was the best thing continental and hot offer good menu. Booked a table for Sunday evening good menu. Had a Sunday roast very nice. All in all a good stay. Parking is at the back of the hotel which has a different post code."

"Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it."

"Despite a lack of dedicated parking, the Parking is plentiful with an NCP directly opposite. Room and public areas are immaculate. The staff were very welcoming and the cooked breakfast was excellent, less so the continental choice."

"Excellent countryside hotel located in a historic rustic Manor House with good facilities and parking and only 15 minutes away from Shrewsbury town centre. My room was clean with lovely antique furniture and countryside view and had a decent size for a single person although other rooms appear bigger on the map and on photos. Reception staff were very helpful and kind! Highly recommended."
