"Check-in is a slow process, the check-in staff was rude to my spouse. The room itself lacks amenities, there are no microwaves and if we asked for some means to reheating leftover food or warm up some milk for my kid they mentioned that we need to go to some convenience store where they might charge for it. "All rooms had an ocean view. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were close to the rest of our party who had booked separately. Even though it was busy the design of the towers made it not feel crowded at all. The pools were perfect with amazing sunsets! We were within a very short walk you our outstanding back to back Pink Sails turtle snorkeling and then coming off one of their boats to hop on another one to go on a whale watching tour. "This is THE place to stay on Waikiki if you want to have an amazing view and be close to the action. We were able to always find chairs at the pool. The beach is steps away. The oceanfront rooms were great. Yes, the hotel is older, but they have done a great job updating it. I wandered through the other big hotels and this would be where we stay when we return for sure."

Found the resort fee a bit over priced, to utilize the beach umbrellas and chairs you had to walk some distance to get them, which didn't suit us at all, so we never went to the beach. But there was plenty of other things to see and do, so that made up for it. The rib deal at TR Fire & Grill was delicious, and if eaten during happy hour the price is perfect."
