Beautiful old school charm but wonderfully updated and modern- a rare classic hotel with the amenities you want. Upgrade to a Tower room with a Diamond Head view and you will thank yourself over and over.

The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The new renovated rooms in the Tower wing were also very nice. One caveat is the Beach Bar has live music and goes until 10pm so if you have an ocean view or ocean front or diamond head facing room- you will hear it. The beach umbrella rentals book fast so you should try and reserve them early before you travel.

If you come to Oahu, you want to be on Waikiki beach. If you want to be on Waikiki beach, you must stay at the Moana Surfrider. Beautiful hotel, nice room, beautiful Ocean view.
