"Rooms appeared clean however residual smell required us to change rooms in the premier floor"

"Good value of money, while the room had a stale smell when I first entered. I had to open the windows to let the fresh air in, which I think it might be due to lack in sunshine and enough ventilation."

"Great place to stay with a family in Auckland. Nice and quiet and the rooms are good and spacious. Easy to get a bus to/from Spark Arena as well if you're going for a concert."

"The balcony is really nice. The toilet door doesn’t shut. Make my room light go off as I pull the card out, so room cleaning was not done. Despite telling the staff and at the reception verbally, the making the room was not done for 2 days during my stay."

"Really friendly staff and a clean, quiet room. Recommended."

"We stayed for 2 nights. but our room faced the street, the noise from buses and cars continued late into the night, we could not sleep. Next morning I asked to change room, the manager remarked that such noise is to be expected in a city. He eventually agreed to move us, but the alternative room was hemmed in by the wall of an adjacent building, resembling a prison cell, so we declined the change. In the room where we stayed, there was a hole in the bedroom door , the bathroom floor tiles were...

"A very shabby room with stained furnishings, bedding and carpet. staff at reception were abrupt and unhelpful. An embarrassment!"

"Proximity apartments are very close to the Manukau Westfield mall so very handy for public transport to the city or hospital (in our case for visiting nearby relatives) and walkable to shops and restaurants. The Studio suite was small (as expected) but adequate with a small table for two and a kitchenette that does include hotplates and oven. The balcony is enclosed with partially openable windows. Free wifi is included. We paid $14 per day to park in the secure undercover carpark which is very...

"A rather unusual hotel layout that puts an Ibis and Novotel in the same building. Very pretty though, and it means that even if you go budget, you get a very nice restaurant built straight into the hotel with a breakfast buffet that, while an upcharge, I think is overall worth it. The room was pretty chic and comfy, though the king bed was actually just two double mattresses side-by-side and this had me waking up with a numb foot on my first morning. Its location is also quite nice; you're right...
