"Room was clean. Breakfast was bountiful except if they claim to use Canadian maple syrup it should be the real thing not corn syrup. Parking on site but you need to pay which was fine. I’d stay there again."
"Brilliant hotel has everything needed, unfortunately they was doing works on bottom floor but can only imagine how beautiful it will look when done. Reception staff could be a little more friendly as I did ask a question one morning about getting to a town and had eyes rolled at me. But overall clean and nice hotel definitely want to return."
"The best experience, everything was just great. Exceeded our expectations in all areas. Definitely stay their when come to Matera. No other luxury places beat it in Matera."
"Absolutely beautiful property, magnificent room, very accommodating staff, and the location is the best in all of Matera.. we would love to go back again. Thank you"
"Wonderful property right in the heart of the Stassi (definitely don’t stay in this area of Matera if you don’t like stairs!). The room itself was beautiful and one of the most unique and memorable stays of our trip. The breakfast had many delicious options. The staff were very welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer."
"Matera è semplicemente meravigliosa! ✨ Un luogo unico, pieno di storia, magia e angoli che sembrano usciti da un film. Passeggiare tra i Sassi, soprattutto al tramonto e all’alba, è un’esperienza che consiglio assolutamente.
Se venite in Italia, non perdetevi Matera: è una di quelle destinazioni che rimangono nel cuore. 🇮🇹🤍"
"The whole experience was perfect. The location is in the Sassi area and the accommodations were very well appointed with elegant modern design juxtaposed with the ancient architecture of the building.
The staff were charming, knowledgeable of the area amenities.
We will be back to stay longer."
"This is a basic tourist property, breakfast adequate but not outstanding, lady on reception brilliant but the men rather ordinary, location ok, rooms need a good refurbish and TV needs some English stations and smart tv access. Parking handy."
"This property have a bit of extra due to the owner obviously being an artist. Highish end product. Still developing the final product. Easy option outside Matera if you have a car. Great staff. Great breakfast. Upmarket farm stay."
"Everything about this property was excellent; from the initial greeting, to the final farewell! It is truly a luxury boutique hotel, with beautiful decor including Elemis amenities, very clean, and a lovely breakfast. Daniela was amazing and made us feel so welcome in addition to providing us with great directions and tips to see Matera in all its beauty. The private parking option was easily accessible and only minutes away. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"Petit hôtel de 9 chambres de dimension humaine!
Avec 9 parking!
Nous avons été accueillis en Français par Giorgia, chaleureuse et passionnée de sa ville elle a pris le temps de nous guider sur les endroits à découvrir!
Les autres employés ne parlaient pas français mais étaient aux petits soins avec nous!
La ville de Matera est époustouflante!"
"The staff was very helpful. They took time to explain how to drive to Sassi and where to park. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was very good, with a large array of food. Location was great."
