"The castle is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed in one of the rooms in the outbuilding in the grounds, surrounded by peacocks, and it was lovely to walk across the lawn in the rain in the early morning for breakfast in the castle restaurant. The drawing room is incredible, with a great bar and genuinely spectacular places to sit in medieval window seats and beautiful couches. The staff are all wonderful. The rooms in the outbuilding are grand, but a lot of the fixtures are getting a bit run down....
