"Lovely clean hotel, close to the beach and centre of old town. Yara Costa and other staff at the hotel were wonderful and so pleasant. Only thing I would say is that if you’re a light sleeper then this isn’t a hotel for you, the bars are quite loud and until early hours of the morning. But the hotel can not be faulted, very clean and a comfortable."

"It was modest but had all it needed. I was impressed by the lady who checked me in. I'm a luxury hotelier myself. Well done! The pool was comfortable. The breakfast was okay. The complimentary access to next door indoor aquawater show park for 3 hours was very valuable. All indoor pools at the hotel and at the park were heated and comfortable for the end of October visit. "The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. The location of the hotel is also convenient for walking to the beach and nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Great option for a stay in...
