"The building, location, room, staff and spa were all excellent. The only thing I would say is stay away from the bar. I was charged 17€ for one wine one beer and one coffee and not told the prices till after. It was the worst beer and wine I had all weekend. Really not nice at all. For comparison, the price for a wine in the most expensive restaurant I could find was €3. The quality of all local bar wines and beers was excellent. Overall tye place was great and I would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone but I wish I had known about the bar. Rooftop view of the city is incredible and well worth the extra steps to the top floor."

"Not as convenient as some other hotels in Bilbao but not terribly out of the way (beware the uphill walk from town!). Breakfast is special - very large selection and many healthy choices, especially for gluten-free. The room was fine, parking was a little tough to get in and out in our suv - but onsite and simple. "Staff very nice. Room was huge with a great shower. We had booked the double room and the bed was a king size! Shower was great. No conditioner provided if you use that. Breakfast was a huge selection. Very worth the €. Location was walkable and ideal. Would definitely stay again. "
