Great hotel on the edge of the city, within walking distance of the old town. BUT it is high above the town, 323 steps up/down, following the ‘Camino de Santiago’ route. Great parking above ground with more underground. Breakfast and evening meal were very good. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, great sized rooms, very clean. Pool is wonderful and there’s a rooftop which was nice for watching fireworks. Bar and restaurant. Not very soundproofed though, could hear tv from next room until late into the night.

The hotel was clean, the coffee was excellent and the bar drinks were very reasonable. The only issue we had was that I wanted to iron a blouse and although there was an electric hand-held steamer in the room, the cable was not long enough to reach the hangers.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, very comfortable and plenty of space to relax. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the old town centre. An uphill trek back but if you are not fully abled , a taxi is only 5 or 6 Euros.

Reception staff really helpful for everything. Very nice hotel with good spacious rooms. Location is good, especially for an easy airport transfer, however for tourist things given the up / down of Bilbao levels, its very hilly, its best to use the metro, which is 2 min walk from the hotel. Lovely city, very friendly and has easy access to beaches via metro line. Recommend Sopela beach for Atlantic.

The hotel is in good overall condition, and the service at the restaurant during dinner was superb. I would especially like to recognize the red-haired lady who worked on the evening of Monday, 09/28/26. She was absolutely wonderful and provided excellent service. I hope the manager can share our comments and appreciation with her (guests from Miami). The hotel’s location is something to consider. I would not recommend it for guests who want to be in the center or within walking distance of the Old Town, as the main attractions are not easily accessible on foot. However, if you are comfortable using Uber, the location is not a major issue. The housekeeping service was excellent. My only suggestion would be to give the bathroom shower a more thorough deep cleaning. The breakfast is expensive, there are many other places at the old town with excellent selection, and cheaper. Overall, this is a good hotel choice as long as you take into consideration that the main attractions and Old Town are not within walking distance.

First and foremost the staff are this hotels best asset. Arriving after a very early flight we did not expect to be allocated a room especially with our experience’s at home in the U.K. However, much to our surprise , we were found a room and checked in. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent. My only criticism would be that on occasions the room had still not been cleaned late in the afternoon.

Check in was easy & very friendly staff, Bar staff we very friendly, rooms were clean but a little small & not enough hangers & no cupboard / draw space. Reception lounge area was fabulous & great 2 sit & relax & have a drink. Bit out of it but Metro just around the corner & only 1 stop to old town, get a metro card as it is so cheap & easy to use.
