"Good hotel in a central place. Easy to walk around, we enjoyed the room which was very spacious, and all in all, I do recommend it. The weak spot of this hotel is the restaurant. Breakfast was fair bit you need to come early or many items run out, and for dinner, we tried the hotel restaurant once, and then preferred different places."

"Staff was very helpful and kind. Took a little bit to figure out the switches in the room. (First time in the UK)Couldn’t figure out how to only have one light next to the bed on instead of all the lights. That was just a minor thing. We enjoyed our stay and the quietness of the room."

"No advance warning but the majority of this hotel is under scaffolding and tarpaulin. We came by train but for drivers the car park is also closed due to the works. Rooms were fine, a little small, and as a previous poster has said very little storage - no dressing table, no drawers. Looked stylish but a little bit of style over substance. Bed was large and comfy and shower was hot and powerful. View over the river. We stayed a Sunday night and just wanted to chill out a bit after a long...

"Reception staff were excellent, particularly Emily & Heather. Food was very good. Rooms are misrepresented & significantly overpriced."

"Booked this Hotel last minute after leaving our filthy room at Premier Inn East. Staff were very nice, hotel is basic but ok for a night, the carpet had a large stain which looked like spilled coffee, the radiator made a noise all night, the window wasn’t a sound deadening type and let in road traffic noise, there was a spoon and build up of dust behind the radiator. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fine."

"Food was fabulous!! The staff was helpful and our was clean."

"Warm welcome on arrival and a free upgrade o a lovely room. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our comfort and convenience. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff in the dining room very friendly and helpful. Had two meals in Chaplins restaurant and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals, again the staff member was friendly and helpful. We were a party of four and had two rooms and everyone was happy and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for the upgrades much appreciated. Would...

"We booked this stay as we planned to do some touring in the highlands. We are so grateful we did. Nairn is a wonderful small town with great people, without the bustle of Inverness. Our hosts were incredible and the property was truly 5 stars! The à la carte breakfast in the morning was a surprise and was delicious. An awesome start to the day! Room was massive and well appointed. Plenty of parking and close to several points of interest. Would absolutely return to see more of what Nairn has to...

"One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The hospitality is bar none and the experience is ethereal. You can almost image the days leading up to the battle of 1746 unfold walking through the halls and the grounds. Lots of delightful surprises I won't spoil that make the experience unique and special from music, to gardens, to the hospitality."

"Clean room, quiet location, delicious breakfast. Lovely bar. Beautiful views. I would recommend."
