"A great stay as always. The only reason it’s not a 5* is the room wasn’t made up on the first day - otherwise a great stay."

"Everyone was very nice."

"Cheeky parking fee for people staying at the hotel , although spa visitors can have 4 hours free ? . You would think residents would get a little more respect"

"From the moment we arrived the hotel and it's staff surpassed our expectations. Jerry, the wonderful Dorman, went out of his way to assist us with everything Bath - he's a goldmine of local info. The team behind the bar are oustanding and warm and friendly. We also used the spa and the treatments were fabulous. By the time we got home today we were already planning our return. "Book the biggest room available, the standard rooms are very small"

"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

"We had a really nice stay, and the staff were excellent, as was the food. Our room was in the oldest part of the Grade 2 listed building so there were some low doorframes & plenty of stairs, but I would stay here again & it's in an excellent location (with off-street parking) for exploring the area."

"Expensive but it is Bath tbf. The modern block on the side of the original building is fine but bland. Could be any standard hotel room. Food also expensive but it’s a nice experience."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Salisbury. The room was very pleasant, the bar staff and reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent."

"The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and clean. The breakfast was good and all the staff were very friendly. Location was great."

"Very small room and en-suite. No storage space for clothes. Room was not well lit. Room doors tended to slam shut disturbing sleep."

"Good place"

"Le cachet et la gentiesse du personel. Mis a part un probleme de drain de douche qui a été régler rapidement tout étais parfait"
