The location is fantastic.
The room was very tiny, but it was known from the moment I made the booking.
Nice breakfast area.
The lodging in Bath is expensive, and parking a car is another expense.
So this tiny room was affordable, in walking distance from everything.
With the incredible summer weather, I had a great stay.
We chose a Cozy (Small) room, which was certainly adequate. The staff were extremely helpful - the General Manager carried our bags to our rooms. My daughter's room had a bathtub/Shower which suited her. My room had a walk-in shower which was great due to my balance and mobility problems. The breakfast was superb - including my daughter's vegetarian option. I strongly recommend this charming hotel.
Room was very clean, the staff helpful and the breakfast was limited choice but the food was good. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy but due to the age of the building this was acceptable.
Very central to Bath attractions. Level flat walk to station, and the Roman Baths and other sights. Staff very pleasant and useful; gave us an eatlier check in when we arrived in Bath in the rain.
Would stay again.
absolutely loved our stay. The hotel was clean, friendly, and in a fantastic location, with everything within walking distance. The customer service was excellent throughout our visit, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
A special thank you to Rajeev kumar who truly made our stay even more enjoyable. His kindness, helpfulness, and local knowledge made exploring the area so much easier for us.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
Very convenient for centre of Bath with all it has to offer , easily within walking distance. Decent breakfast and accomodating and helpful staff - especially Ranjeev on reception . Comfortable bed with lovely soft pillows. There is limited car parking but customers can use Podium car parking which is a short drive / walk from the hotel.
Staff very nice and the hotel was fine and central but the room was very small difficult to get into bed and couldn’t get in the shower. It says cosy but that’s going a little to far
We arrived a bit early but staff were helpful and checked if our room was ready which it was. So got in earlier which was a boost. We got parked in the small private car park which is £22 a night which is a bit hefty. Our stay was great and the staff were helpful. The only downside was the bathroom being on the small side. Would return again if in the area.
Staff were fantastic, I booked a night in Bath for my husbands birthday, staff left a little cake on the bedside table and offered us a complementary Prosecco, cannot fault the hospitality. I booked a superior boutique room, not much superior about it. The shower door leaked water all over the bathroom floor because the door did not seal. On the subject of doors, the bathroom door did not close properly which is hardly ideal. Given the fact it was supposed to be recently renovated the carpet, grouting, sanitary sealant in the bathroom looked old and tired. A real shame as this could be so easily rectified.
The hotel was small, which we really liked, and our room was located in a separate building just a few doors down from the main reception and breakfast area.
The room itself was enormous and featured two chandeliers, which complemented the character and style of the space beautifully. Owing to the recent warm weather, the room was very hot, but thankfully a fan was provided, which was an absolute lifesaver.
Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with an excellent selection that included continental options, a full cooked breakfast, eggs Benedict and eggs Royale. Everything was freshly prepared to order.
I believe there was a small on-site car park available for an additional charge, but it was full when we arrived. Reception directed us to the nearby Podium multi-storey car park, which, at the time of our stay, cost £18 per day and represented good value.
We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful historic building and friendly staff. Great location for exploring Bath on foot and nice quiet street with little traffic. I especially liked having breakfast served to the table instead of buffet - that should be highlighted on the website. I was upgraded to a lovely airy 2nd floor room with a bath in the annex which was welcome on a hot couple of days.
