"Our check-in was not smooth...we arrived at 1pm after a very long flight then a train from Zurich to Strasburg, so up almost 24 hours. We went to the front desk and was brusquely told by the woman we could not check-in until 3pm. We asked if there was perhaps just 1 room ready (we had 2 rooms reserved), again rudely told only at 3pm. Then we had to ask if we could at least store our luggage. "Loved this little hotel and will absolutely come back! I stayed a single night as a solo female traveler and felt very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, offering to hold my bag before my room was ready so I could explore more easily. I stayed in one of the attic rooms for a unique view (very worth it), but fair warning - these rooms are not for those with above 6ft tall or mobility challenges. "Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer haben wir zum Glück zur ruhigeren Straßenseite bekommen. Das Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber für einen kurzen Städtetrip ausreichend. Die Mini Bar mit Wasser und Softdrinks war inklusive, das war super. Das Gym etwas klein und stickig. Das Parkhaus ist abenteuerlich, für große Autos absolut nicht geeignet und der Preis war ziemlich stolz.
Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel absolut empfehlen, tolle Lage und gutes Gesamtpaket."
"I liked everything about this hotel. Design is great, Staff also. Rooms were clean. The hotel is very well situated: few minutes to the Cathedral, and few minutes by train to the station. Breakfast was absolutely amazing: rich choice, fresh food, wonderful coffee.
