"If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas...

"We had a very short (4 nights) but extremely pleasurable stay a Sapphire Gardens. We arrived after the grocery stores were closed and had been able to organize a few essentials to be available for us on arival - fantastic. The unit was well laye dout and felt like being at home. The location is ideal - a few steps from the beach and from several dining venues with a range of dining experiences. "Two Turtles was the best location. Center of town and walking distance to everything, including the water taxi! Room was just okay. It's more of an Inn or Hostel. No maid service during your stay, so you have to ask for new towels, etc. Our air conditioning was broken, which would have been fine, but our window did not have screens, so we couldn't open those either. Great people that work there and love the bar! But definitely a 2 star as far as room quality."
