We had a fantastic stay! Water view was amazing and the beach was great for snorkeling and watching sea life swim by. It’s so calm and serene at the beaches here. highly recommend this villa! Great location to town and nice restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

The Villa is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. We felt very safe there. It’s close to Georgetown for shopping and catching the water taxi. We loved having a little private beach with kayaks and lounge chairs. The fish pound is really fun to watch the different types of fish and the sea turtle. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful little house by the water. Extremely clean and tidy. Saw sea turtles everyday by the beach and fed the fishes in the aquarium. Close to everything in Georgetown. Would highly recommend.

Sherika thank you for letting us enjoy your property in St.George,!Exumas. This house conveniently located in the center of the island, so for us beach hoppers it worked out well. Sherika was very responsive to our needs and we felt very safe and comfortable in this property.

My husband and I flew to Exuma to meet up with our son, daughter in law, and our granddaughter, to celebrate her 10th birthday. We were fortunate to find Ocean Mist Villa to rent for our visit. Our son sailed to the Exuma from Wisconsin, through the Erie Canal, down the east coast of the USA, and they are moored in Exuma. They joined us each day at Ocean Mist Villa. If you are “cruisers” and have family visiting, we highly recommend Ocean Mist! The villa is right on the water, with a dock, so our son would tie up, pick us up each day on their dinghy to explore, and back to the villa after our dinner for cards, and a birthday celebration. The villa is truly home away from home! It has everything you would need. It was spotless and decorated beautifully. We travel the world and we have never met more friendly people than we met on the island. The communication between us and the owner was great! We highly recommend Ocean Mist!

Our stay at Ocean Mist Villa was absolutely amazing! Sherika was so sweet and was quick to respond. The home is beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated. We loved having a washer and dryer on-site, which came in handy during our trip. It was nice to visit the aquarium and take short walks on the property. The location is perfect—just 5 minutes from George Town but peaceful and relaxing. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. One of our favorite things was sitting out on the patio overlooking the ocean. The breeze on your skin, a drink in your hand, and the view just can’t be beat. We didn’t want to leave! Definitely recommend booking Ocean Mist Villa—you won’t regret it!

Perfect home away from home

Wonderful house with everything you could possibly need. Kind and helpful owners. Ask to rent a boat! Bonus-there is great snorkeling on either side of the sweet little pocket beach in front of the house. Sea turtles, a huge ray, tons of sea stars and sea cucumbers, some coral and lots of sea life. If you’re a sheller there are plenty of tulips and bivalves right there in the shallows. The house has everything you could ever need. It’s also close to George Town and the govt dock where you can get the water taxi to other islands. Plan on renting a boat or a car. We loved it here and will choose this place when we come to exuma again!

Fantastic property and owner/family

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed in the beginning of Aug 2022. First of all, I can't say enough about how helpful, friendly, and welcoming Sherika and her family were! They set the tone for the whole stay. The villa was spotless, we had everything we could want or need in the kitchen, and the beach towels and such were great. The living room furniture was very comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the rooms were well furnished. The boat rental was so easy as well and we used it every day...a must do! If I could make one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the queen bed in the master bedroom (with the huge shower) to a king sized bed. There is plenty of room and, imo, it would be much more comfortable for your guests - at least for these repeat visitors (we are booking our next trip now!😊). I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful villa. It is in close proximity to Georgetown, particularly by water. We did our grocery shopping, meals out, etc. all by boat. Thank you, Sherika, for sharing your lovely villa!! Exuma is the most beautiful place on earth and we love feeling like we have a home away from home!

House was amazing! So clean and beautiful! Outside was disappointing. Private beach was not so private. There was a backhoe pulling boats around the front yard where the not so private beach was. All kinds of people in and out working on the boats. That was disappointing.

The property is beautifully decorated. The owners have done an amazing job paying attention to detail when it comes to amenities for their guests. They communicated very well throughout our stay. Just far enough away from downtown Georetown where you felt like it was a very private escape for my wife and I. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Ocean Mist Villa. The place looked like new inside. Very clean. It was spacious, had 2 large bedrooms and air conditioned. Communication was easy. Easy to find. About a 5 minute drive from George Town. Will definitely stay here again when back.

Sherika's villa was amazing. It was like it was brand new and so clean. The view is amazing and we enjoyed feeding the fish in her father's aquarium. It was nice being close to town. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Exuma.

I cannot recommend this villa enough. My wife and I agreed that this property exceeded our expectations in every sense. It was immaculately clean, and the host (Sherika) was in touch daily to check in on us via instant message. The appliances (and utilities) feel brand new and work perfectly. The villa's location is stunning as it is right on the water with an unobstructed view of crab cay and the harbor. We have every intention of returning if we have the chance to visit again.

The villa was very private and clean. Even though there were a few other villas around, we were the only ones at the beach the whole 5 days we were there. There were boats available for rent at a pretty competitive price but we did not have time to utilize one while we were there. We did love that there were kayaks so that we could explore on our own without spending more money to rent some. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely return if we get the chance.

The villa was perfect for our vacation. The market was close, so we bought groceries and cooked our our meals in the fully-stocked kitchen. The owner of the property allowed us to rent his boat, which allowed us to explore. The property was roomy enough for the four of us. It was very clean. Another plus was that it had a washer and dryer.
