"I made a reservation for two rooms four months ahead of traveling. We were placed in different buildings. There was no reception desk just a table placed right outside our room door. We knew there were shared bathrooms but on one of the buildings the shared bathroom was down a floor and through two long halls. The breakfast room was also right outside our door, we had to walk across the hall to the shared bathroom basically open to the breakfast area. Not a reasonable set up and we would not...
"The rooms were spacious in this out in the country hotel. The breakfast was generous and started early. Our room had a slight plumbing problem, but it did not affect our stay at all."
"The property was just OK. Good for a short one night stop. The shower/ bathroom water smelled very strong of sulfur so that was unpleasant. The breakfast spread was good. It’s self check in so you are sort of on your own if you have questions. It was misleading to say the hotel dinner restaurant had waterfall views because that’s actually at the sister property not this property so you have to walk or drive over there for dinner. I would recommend this only as a short budget hotel stay option."
"Pros: private entrance to our room as well as through main reception area, good breakfast buffet included, cozy room.
Cons: the shower is coated in black paint or material of some kind to emulate the look of a volcano. However, the black hides the fact that either mold or mildew is growing quite a bit in the shower and is not being by cleaned / maintained properly. Everything else was clean and lovely, but mold/mildew needs to be addressed in the shower.
Also the hotel is about 10 miles outside...
"The scenery was epic and the space was beautiful! So cozy with lots of personal touches. Wish we could have spent more nights there! The breakfast basket was incredible. We would love to stay here again!"
"Area is very beautiful, and rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed one night and breakfast was a lot of variety and delicious! Would highly recommend if trying to be around Vik/waterfall areas (approx 50 min away from Vik)"
"The guesthouse we stayed in was clean and cozy with some great views of the ocean from on top of the hill. It's about 15 minutes outside of Vik and is also close to some wonderful scenic views and locations to access while we were in the area!"
