"Our stay was a little disappointing. The exterior of the property needs maintenance, with a deteriorated facade and overgrown areas. Upon arrival, there were strong unpleasant odors on the lower level, and seeing piles of bed linens in common areas was not a good first impression.
The room itself was acceptable. The sheets were clean, and the air conditioning worked very well. The best part of our stay was definitely the breakfast area: it was pleasant and clean, the bathroom was very well...
"Only stayed one night in a 3-person room. That style of room is sort of a 2-room setup (one big room divided by a wall that you walk around on one side). The far side of the wall (the sleeping area) does not have a dedicated A/C and required fans to stay cool. But the staff was very helpful in working that out. "The property has a very convenient location, very close to the Mercato Albinelli, the Cathedral and many coffee shops, restaurants, libraries. The staff are very friendly and speak fluent English. The hotel is boutique, beautiful touches great aroma in the lobby area. It feels boho style. I had a single bedroom, and even though it was very small, somehow everything I needed was there. And it was very clean too. I would stay there again."

The only improvement one could wish for is a kettle in the room and minimal tea/coffee amenities, but that's not typical of traditional Italian hotels.
