"If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. "This is a place to put your head down and that's about it. Small cottage that has many miles on it. Beds and bedding were old and uncomfortable. Blanket consisted of a sleeping bag. Showers backed up into the tub. Air conditioner leaked onto the living room floor. It rained hard while we were there. had some time where we could not go anywhere. TV is broken. "Overall the place was fine. Everything worked as it should. We normally stay waterfront but opted for a small kitchen area and ended up here. It is on the opposite side of the road from the water. Exuma is beautiful but if you’re looking for a lot of activities, this is not the place. If your looking for beautiful beaches and white sand, this is the place to come."

"I would NOT recommend staying at peace & plenty, I had booked our stay at the cottage on stocking island and without any notice they moved us to the resort on the main island due to construction on the stocking island cottages. They barely compensated us for this and our room was also quite dirty, the floors were filthy, there was hair in the shower, and ants in the kitchenette. "

"Two Turtles was the best location. Center of town and walking distance to everything, including the water taxi! Room was just okay. It's more of an Inn or Hostel. No maid service during your stay, so you have to ask for new towels, etc. Our air conditioning was broken, which would have been fine, but our window did not have screens, so we couldn't open those either. Great people that work there and love the bar! But definitely a 2 star as far as room quality."
