"This hotel needs a full refurbishment. It is run down. The bathroom in our room smelled like stale cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. They didn’t clean our room, make the bed, change the towels during our stay. The front desk clerk I asked about it was very dismissive and disrespectful and told me it was our fault. The carpets need cleaning/ replacing. There is a musty smell throughout the hotel."
"We requested a special assisted room as my travelling partner is not able to walk far without the help of her mobility scooter.
We were located room quite far away from the reception and my struggle to get to our room.
The staff told us that Expedia did not pass on our requested for a disable person room.
This is not acceptable."

Happen, would have actually been a blessing . The front desk agreed to help us check in later than possible by leaving key in lockbox. Unfortunately, same desk clerk told us hotel was in Dumfries which has a road with a similar which led u s to council housing at midnight. Once we discovered the error we have another 1 hour 15 minute ride to “hotel”. Upon arriving, key was in lockbox, room was large but beds were from the 19th century, incredibly...
"Hotel was a bit dated however the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the location was quiet so got a good night's sleep. We did not eat breakfast, and dinner was not available so ate in the pub across the road then came back to the hotel and enjoyed their small bar. The hotel is handy for the motorway."

"Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover."
"The location of this guest house was excellent, good (free) parking and a delicious breakfast. The room was a bit dirty (hairs that were not mine, cup rings on the glass topped dresser, toothpaste marks on the glasses/mug).
I appreciated the lamps with USB chargers and a window that opened.
