"We arrived at the property and we was not told about the ongoing building work going on at the hotel. There is scaffolding all around the hotel no views from the window due to a scaffolding dirty windows unsafe no locks on the windows meaning people can climb with the ladders and get into your room rude Bar manager overall experience very bad. This hotel should be closed down until the work is completed."

"All excellent except dogs permitted indoors. I agree with assistance dogs but 2 of my travelling companions have had adverse experiences with dogs. One was bitten by a family pet the other chased down the street by a Rottweiler that had escaped through a fence. Given that neither of those attacks were reported there must be more than double the 24,000 annual reported attacks. In addition hygiene can be an issue if dogs go into food serving areas! "The hotel is ideally located in the village with an outside seating area across the road and overlooking the river. We ordered salads for lunch which were brought to our table in PLASTIC baskets with the salad presented on a serviette! When questioned the waiter explained that they do not allow crockery outside yet drinks were served in glasses! Given our experience at lunch we chose to eat our evening meal at a Tapas bar and our breakfast at a nearby coffee shop. The hotel is in need of some...
