"The ground floor room was fine, with easy access to the parking area. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning. "Etwas in die Jahre gekommen dafür aber mit sehr viel Charme. Für einen Kurzurlaub definitiv zu empfehlen. Küche und Kühlschrank durften mitbenutzt werden und der Garten war ein kleines Paradies. Einige Aufstriche beim Frühstück waren leider abgelaufen aber es gab genug alternative Auswahl."

"Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!"
