"The room and washroom were both dirty. The air conditioner appeared to be malfunctioning and was poorly positioned. Even with the temperature set to 16°C, the room remained uncomfortably hot. Overall, it was a terrible experience."

"There was. No hot water for shower or sink. The bedspreads were ancient. Construction right beside our room. ."

"breakfast was not great. hot tub out of commission the first day. lovely room, comfortable bed and couch. no hot water to sinks but shower was fine. rooms are not very soundproof. group of kids for hockey or something were quite loud in lobby and halls until after 10pm on Sat but Sunday was fine once they were gone."

"Stayed here about 4 years ago and the place was okay then. Clean a little dated look, okay condition and affordable. Now still affordable however that is it. You can tell no updates have happened. Paint is peeling in the bathroom, there is a smell of old smoke in the hallways, the bathroom door did not close and the front staff did not help much. It was indicated that coffee was available in the morning in the front lobby area but never had any available during our stay."

"Our room was excellent Our breakfast was very good both days. It is in a good location with restaurants in walking distance. There was only one negative. On our last day in the hotel, there was a piece of paper at the elevator notifying guests that there was planned maintenance work to be done on the plumbing system so there would be no water in the guest rooms or public areas from 9 am till 1 pm. We had not been notified so we had to cancel our plans for a swim and hot tub morning before...

"Welcoming, friendly staff, breakfast was nice, tasty waffles, typical continental breakfast. Room was clean and well staffed. Parking close to front entrance, easy access. Room was a bit stuffy but not offensive."

"Very dirty place."

"Always enjoy staying at the Laundry Rooms. Beats a hotel any day! Safe, secure with a gym and lap pools (Kitchener). Walking distance to downtown bars/restaurants. You can sit and watch the zombies walk around."

"Room smelled like an ash tray."
