"Our room door DID NOT ACTUALLY LOCK. The door handle would appear to lock, but if you simply pushed on the door, the entire door would open. That means anyone could have walked into our room while we were gone, despite us believing the room was securely locked.
What made this even worse was the hotel’s response when I complained. Instead of treating this as the serious security problem it was, I was basically told that the lock works as long as you “don’t force the door open.” That is...

"Overall I had a good time at Cocori. The staff is really friendly and the people around were nice. "The property is beautiful and right near the beach. We had a room with a private pool, which was nice. The outside area at the private pool is also great, and there is a large grill if you want to cook it that way. We also used the larger pool available for everyone, which was nice with a kiddie pool area. Restaurants are nearby with a car. The owner was very responsive and helpful with our reservation. "
