"The staff was thorough and very friendly and helpful. I knew it was an older hotel so I was expecting some blemishes. The room was immaculate and smelled clean though. There was peeling paint and indents in the walls from the doors being opened into them. There was staining behind the toilet from maybe a water leak. The bed was perfect. Comfortable, clean and well made. Pillows were a little small. The amenities in the room were great - tv, couch, table, fridge, coffeepot and microwave. The...

"Clean room and great staff."

"We were there in late October. We didn't get booked at the main resort building but at one of the side buildings. (no pool or hot tub facilities open). The restaurant at one of the other side buildings was elegant but we didn't have many vegetarian options available so we had an over priced fish and chips dish. However, our room was beautiful, had a fireplace and was right on the bay so our view was spectacular. One channel only on the TV but it was Netflix and so we watched a movie."

"Super-friendly staff and obvious care taken to keep the property clean. Better than average breakfast and comfortable room."

"This hotel is pretty rundown and out-dated. The heating unit was faulty in our room, outside door locks didn’t work, security seemed sketchy, and we were over all under-whelmed."

"The room was clean, but I never saw staff at the counter anytime I came and went over the course of that few days. Rooms and hotel were very sparse of amenities- like coffee or lobby music or staff to greet you. It seemed there was construction going on. And that many things could use a little updating or maintenance. For example, the curtains were very thread bear and head holes in them. It wasn't anything that was outright offensive… Just a bit weathered, which might have justified the...

"Front desk staff was awesome. Clean. Great value"

"The room (107) was a large 1 bedroom suite that was heated by a mini-split in the living room. The heat didn’t make it down the hall to the bedroom, which was cold. Had to ask for a blanket for the bed. There was no extra blanket to be found in the suite. That’s my only complaint. Staff was friendly, room was super clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Nice place to stay."
