"I think this property is great for a short stay to catch a cruise. The staff was super friendly and the room was small but clean. TGI Fridays and McDonald's was right outside the front door just a few hundred steps away. You can easily walk to the Horizon Cruise Terminal although we grabbed an Uber because it was raining. This only cost around 9 Euro, so it wasn't a big deal. I would have no problem staying here again"
"Well first the staff was helpful and professional. The location is just spectacular. You are literally across the road from the beach and it has off street dedicated parking. A lovely parade along the beach, great for a stroll. Good places to eat near by and a Coop virtually around the corner. I was able to set up my laptop in the common room and had the place virtually to myself. I'd stay here again."

Yes, the property is tired and in need of a face-lift; the carpets are well-worn, the beds are old, the bar/entertainment area hasn't been used in a long time and the bathroom was very basic. Your room isn't serviced during your stay other than to empty the bin...
"The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton."
"The problem was finding it! Late at night. Very dark and poorly lit. It is around the corner from an empty unlit building. Apart from that….. room a good size bed and pillows very comfortable. Room was very clean. 10/10 doesn’t exist. It is 7-8/10 could be higher if you could just find the place!"

"I paid £26 for the night, and felt like I overpaid.
Advertisement pictures are false. Maybe that room looked like this, once. Not any more. Stains on the walls, stank of cigarettes.
Bed looked like it's been slept in already. No towels provided. There was a kettle and some tea in the room, but no cups to make it in.
Shared toilet and bathroom, dirty, no soap, no shampoo.
Tried to raise issues with the property, but there was no answer on the phone number provided, and no reply via messages on...
"The very small hallway lobby space was very dirty, poorly lighted, no elevator, with very narrow and numerous winding hallways. There were no amenities and the room was not as appeared in pictures."
"Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also."
"I couldn't take my shower during my stay because there was no cold water at the shower and the hot water was extremely hot.
In addition to that the people were making noise even in the mid night not allowing me to have a good sleep"
