"The hotel was in a good place, not too far from the town centre and also easy to get back onto the M5. It was also good having the free car park with ample spaces. The staff were helpful. The only downfall the mattresses are very soft and when there are 2 of you in bed you both end up rolling into the middle together. The walls are quite thin and we could hear someone in the next room plugging something in and unplugging it again."
"I booked a twin room with parking and breakfast for 3 nights. The room was very, very small but as we were visiting family we only needed it for late evening and sleeping.
After booking I was told there was a few parking spaces outside the hotel, not able to reserve them, first come first served but street parking was free.... unfortunately we arrived each evening at 9:30pm and all the spaces and all the streets around were jam packed. So parking was a real problem.

It looks as if there has been no attempts of upkeep at the property for years.

There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. "Unfortunately there was no shower in my ensuite and I was too fussy to use the shared shower, also it was too noisy for me as I was working long shifts so I had to cancel after the first night. However the pub downstairs looked really busy and welcoming & the staff were absolutely fantastic."

When we first arrived after a 5 hour drive at half 6 on a Saturday evening, the access code for the key lock box we recieved via the property app was incorrect.
