"Lovely staff. Great customer service from the get-go. Quiet and peaceful location. Clean room with all the necessities. Our room had a spacious balcony with a great view of the sea. Meals were delicious and reasonable. Will definitely stay again."

"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"We arrived the first night and didn’t you no where to go due to there being no sign on the property. The gate had a lock on it and a beware of dog sign on it, so we had to go pay to stay somewhere else the first night. When we asked the for owner for compensation she told us to go through Expedia and she wasn’t wiling to do anything. There were no housekeeping services provided, there were no towels, soap and the sheets were filthy. We had to ask for toilet paper. The worst part is that the room...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rio Vista. The area is the most beautiful part of Jamaica and the views at the hotel, and especially the breakfast terrace, are absolutely breathtaking. The gardens are lush with gorgeous plants and flowers and we saw fireflies and hummingbirds and heard the tree frogs on an evening. Our 2 bed villa suited us as a family of 4 perfectly.
