"The hotel being contact free and having a code to get in is super convenient! Reduces the stress of having to get to the hotel at a certain time which was nice for us, when we arrived there was 1 staff member at the bar who was very friendly and gave us directions to our room. "Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub.
As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4.
Our window view was a charming old church.
Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts.
No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly.
Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog.

Eventually braved the rain and went to the property, no reply when I rang the bell. Looked on-line for possible other contact number to see that the property was closed. As the town was busy that weekend there was no affordable places for me and my daughter to stay so the only option we had was to head to train station and buy tickets to return to Newcastle. This...

"On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else.
I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket.
Will not be using Expedia ever again!!"
