"Our reservation was for a double room with view on the water and we were charged for such. But the room was a lost area. After we had placed our luggage in the room, we informed Mike about the situation. He was nice enough to offer another, but after he was informed of the luggage already being in the room, he also reviewed the the price which we accepted. "Checked in and was told everything was ready. Was told key would be in the trailer hanging on a hook beside the front door. When we got to the trailer there was no key. Door was unlocked therefore anybody could just walk in-how long was unit unlocked for? Contacted the owner via email-never responded to email. Happen to see him leaving and tracked him down. Had a bunch of extra keys in his trunk. Does the previous client have the same key? Can they get in?

"Friendly, helpful reception. Clean room for most part. Box-spring mattress damaged in one visible corner, not conducive to reliable maintenance. Other visible damage also. Outside of building needs maintenance as well. No coffee/tea provided. Functional mini fridge with small freezer were convenient, plus small microwave oven. Price I paid was more than price I was quoted by Expedia. Somewhat overpriced anyway for overall quality."

"Very pleasant, clean motel very close to the ferry terminal to Newfoundland. Ideal for a short or long stay. Close to restaurants and a farmers market just across the street. I would highly recommend the motel. Looking forward to a future stay."

"The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers.
The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing....
"This room was so cozy and had so many thoughtful touches. It felt like the owner would want to stay there! Extra towels, cold drinks in the fridge, unlimited nespresso pods and to go cups!! It made the perfect stay for my husband and I. Also located right in town, short drive to all the main spots. We especially loved the private balcony! Would 1000% recommend!"
