This was a wonderful property to stay at. Yon get a spacious room that looks out over the lake. Rooms are fully equiped for your convenience with fridge air conditionind (heat) .it was by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Cape Breton we will be returning for sure. If your heading to Sydney it is about 30mins outside of the city. In closing i cant say enough about this property and the cost was unbelievable to get the quality of room for $130.00.i would rate the experience with a 10 out of 10. Thankyou for a great nights sleep.

The included breakfast buffet had cereal, coffee, orange juice, bread, English muffins, hot egg and sausage rounds. It was nice to have the hot options. Each room had its own heat pump making climate control easy. Some of the fixtures need replacing and updating but it looks like they may be undertaking some renovations.

Friendly staff, easy check in, comfortable bed and pillows, beautiful view. Staff were so helpful with my tv issues-instant service! A coffee maker in the room would be a good addition😊. Overall-you get way more than you pay for!! I recommend staying here. Owner is working hard on updating the rooms, so far very good!

We had to use a portable heater as the furnace wasn’t hooked yet. It seemed they weren’t ready for customers even though we had it booked well ahead. The shower water had to run a while as it came out brown but eventually cleared so I could shower The staff was helpful in making sure we had the heater and the bed was very comfortable.

The room was not clean, full of dust, dirty floor, dirty fridge, bugs. We wanted to leave but they said we would loose the money which was very expensive for such low quality. No wonder it was completely empty. We were the only ones there. It did have a nice view to the river it was the only plus. There were no places around to have dinner. Even though said breakfast included there was no breakfast but we wouldn’t eat there anyway. Of all the places we stayed this certainly was the worst!
