"Great glamping experience! Spacious and comfortable tent. Personal bathroom with shower. Great shared kitchen with small breakfast included. Lots of drinkable water included. Staff were very nice. Only one of the bikes in working condition and the rest were in desperate need of repair. Make sure to bring bug repellant. The pool was not as advertised, but fine. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a wonderful week at La Sirena Unit 16 with our granddaughter to celebrate her graduation, and our experience with Akumal Direct / Loco ****** was exceptional from start to finish. We were originally booked at Hacienda de la Tortuga, but before our trip the team proactively reached out to let us know that the sargasso conditions there were severe. They didn’t just inform us—they offered two alternative properties and helped us seamlessly transition our reservation. Their commitment to ensuring we had the best possible stay was clear, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated.They even coordinated the delivery of our golf cart to the new property, making the switch effortless on our end.La Sirena itself was perfect. The grounds and gardens are lush and beautifully maintained, and our villa was comfortable, charming, and well‐appointed with everything we needed. The A/C kept the space cool, the hot water was reliable, and the décor had that authentic, welcoming Mexican touch. The beach area was lovely, and we enjoyed fantastic snorkeling right from shore—with absolutely no sargasso. We also spent plenty of time relaxing by the gorgeous pool, and one afternoon the gardener surprised us with a fresh coconut, which made the moment even more special.The Akumal Direct team truly demonstrated excellence in customer service. Their proactive communication, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care for our experience made all the difference. We highly recommend them as a trusted source for your vacation planning, and we look forward to booking with them again."

Despite the worst sargassum season yet, we still enjoyed the lagoon and pool. The villa was also very comfortable and clean and the house staff were excellent. We hired them to cook for us and started missing the wonderful meals they made as soon as we got back home."

"The service and hotel were amzing ! We get there and Elizebeth greats us with a smile and she were drained and shots for me and my family. And than after the check in she introduced us to Alfred or personal concierge for our entire stay! Alfred was amazing. We got there and he’s like let me show you guys where the restaurant is because I know you guys are hungry as we’re walking. He’s explaining the hotel he explains. He’s our private concierge as well. He explains on the way that we could go go with him or we could stop at his desk and look at the restaurant options. He already had taken the privilege of booking the overall best restaurants at the resort we actually stood with hair recommendations. His recommendations were on point. I can’t say how much Alfred was there for us every morning he greeted us for breakfast anytime he seen us. He wanted to make sure we were OK that there was nothing that was missing from my room or any of that as well. He did help us set up our excursions as well that same day he got everything set up for us and we’re set for the entire week. He was in fishing. He was courteous and my true honest opinion is he provided over the top service for the hotel and the whole staff was amazing all the staff was great so I can’t say more and I do give this hotel a high 10 because the little touches that they provided for us was amazing. Thank you."

The house and yard were cleaned and maintained daily and kept spotless and immaculate. The employees working at the home and at the office were responsive and helpful with everything we needed. Only complaint is that the living room/kitchen area does not have AC and gets quite warm even with the windows open."

"We had a fabulous stay at Villa Lijeson. It was clean, air conditioning worked great, beds were very comfortable, everything was provided that we needed. To top it off, it was great to be able to walk out the door and have the pool right there. Highly recommend!"

"We love this house. The layout is cozy, the pool is great, and having a snorkeling lagoon out back is great - especially in the mornings and late afternoons when you have the Yalku lagoon all to yourself. Isidro was a gracious host/cook and was eager to make sure we were taken care of. All the meals were delicious and the pricing is better than other local houses we have rented with a cook. We will definitely be renting here again."
