"Great location & views from the hotel, short walk from the Lakes. Specious room. Food menu is good. Nice staff. We hired eBikes, Oliver was really helpful. Reception was quick easy check-in. Can't fault anything about the stay."

"Beautiful Lodge in a picturesque location. Easy to travel to local towns and to hikes and walks. The Lodge had all the amenities you would need, very clean and well layed out with lots of space. Location is beautiful and peaceful. No negatives I can think of. Just be careful driving in the area, tight roads."

"We have stayed at White Cross Bay on numerous occasions and Potters Lodge is by far the best Lodge we have experienced. The Lodge is very well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen and stunning views. The outside space is perfect and the hottub is fantastic! We would 100% definitely stay here again."

"The inn is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside and the property is just lovely. There was, however, no room in the bathroom itself for my friend and I to store our toiletries. A small glass shelf above the sink was all that was offered. No room in the shower for anything but a bar of soap. You must know that not everyone can use the shampoo and body soap/lotion you kindly provide. People have skin conditions that require use of specified products. No washcloths were provided. Is this a custom in the UK? In the US, we use washcloths for rinsing and wiping our skin."

"We love this site in Windermere and Top Lodge was a pleasure to stay in. The rooms were all clean and the beds were comfortable. Looked for a pet friendly option and this was perfect for us. The weather wasn't great and so we watched alot of TV, the only downside was the signal was poor but hey, nothing major."
