"Great place to stay for the distance from Volcano National Park. Great check in experience & clean quite room"

"We needed a place near volcano park and this property filled the bill. I really should have read the information provided by the host to understand the self-check in process. (Multiple messages from all our stays overwhelmed me) Once we squared that away, we found dinner and brought it back to the room and settled in. The night sounds in the forest were great. My only suggestion is the steps be lit up for arrivals after dark."

"Pleasant stay. we spent the day at the Volcano Natl Park which is only 7 minutes away. had dinner in town, checked in about 5pm. when you drive onto the property you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forrest. really appreciated the tasty banana bread, snacks, and fruit that was left out. our room had a hot tub, which we didnt use. the matress was comfy. very quiet surrondings."

"The Lodge itself was impeccably clean. The dining experience was great. Our room was perfect right down to the heated towel bar. The volcano area lookouts were nearby thus not having to travel very far. The staff were very helpful in all aspects. Would definitely recommend this Lodge."

"The challenge with the property is there are a set of bylaws that renters agree to regarding things like observing quiet hours and no smoking in common areas. We drew the short straw for the bulk of our stay. We had a first floor unit with a group of 4 younger adults directly above us. One of the young women was having some sort of existential crisis that lead the group to sit on their patio and drink and smoke pot from 11:30 pm till after sunup.
