"Great location to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very basic, not worth the additional cost. The car parking across the road is perfect solution to your stay."

"Excellent canalside location halfway between railway station and city centre. Nice upbeat vibe, with dining area sharing space with reception and bar. Room cleaning not perfect but adequate, but hotel generally very good. Initially, I had a problem with internet connection on my laptop but the duty manager duly resolved the issue with "a special code". If only all problems could be resolved like this!"

"Great location. Warm welcome and very accommodating of our requests. Room was great. Did get a little stuffy (outdoor temperature in low 20s centigrade) but efficient fan supplied. Surprisingly quiet at night considering it is part of a pub/restaurant and next to the car park. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of options. Highly recommended!"
