Housing Albert is cheap, that’s why we chose to stay there, but it surprised us with its cleanliness and convenient location.
We will definitely stay there again.

I had a great stay at Alfred’s. The room was clean and simple—just what I needed. No fuss, just a comfy and straightforward space to relax in. Highly recommend.
I had a good experience staying at this place! It was quiet, clean and I enjoyed the stay! I would recommend it, the host was nice and friendly! Thank you

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Good point: near the via rail station; clean inside the room; easy check in
Bad point: common area ie the bathroom was dirty, especially the mat in the bathroom; sound proof between rooms was so poor
Only issue us no rail to top of stair case makes amputees even slower, that said loved room. Needs a handy cripple shower seat so we don't accidentally flood the floor, staff is truly excellent
Emailed instructions were very clear for door access codes. Signage inside the property was very clear. aside from hearing an occasional door access keypad beeping and microwave oven in kitchen, our stay was very quiet and enjoyable. Feb 2025.

Liked: Amenities
First, the negative (positives way outweigh these): hangers in bathroom on which to hang towels, clothing, etc need to be sturdier; wish outside patio was available guests.
Positives: staff was immediately or nearly immediately available & knew answers to questions and addressed issues properly in timely fashion; CLEAN common area, bathroom, guest room; comfortable, simple guest room. If you want a place to simply rest your head, reading or creating private retreat space, HA is it!
I've stayed twice in this place. First time in room in basement. The washroom was very dirty and the boiler or the heating system was making big noise.. if you're a person who requires the quiet, this is not the good place for you in the basement.
Second time the room was on very top and one guy who was renting the next room wakes me up before 8 am in the morning he was talking loudly with an open speaker in the living room.
The rooms inside were cleaned and it has a comfortable beds.
This was a really cute place to stay in a really nice area downtown so you could access everything in Windsor. The home was perfect - it was well-maintained, everything worked, and cozy, but the only downside was that there was no hot tub like in the description.
