Windsor itself is a lovely place Great restaurants and nice parks. Family in the area adds to the enjoyment. A nice hotel with proper dedication about information regarding their property will make first timers want to come back for repeat visits.

We went to the Windsor casino and several bars that were all fine but Windsor overall is rather depressed and dumpy
"The Stonecroft was a great place to stay during a family visit. The rooms are very clean and newly renovated. The staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was great with quite a few options. We have stayed at this hotel 3 different times and were satisfied. There are plenty of dining options next door and within walking distance and a Walmart within a 5 minute walk if you need to grab anything. There is a bar sized fridge in the rooms but unfortunately no microwave. There is a microwave in the breakfast lobby if needed, however. "
