"We had a comfortable stay at this basic and affordable Lake George motel. It was easy to walk to the lake from the property (at first we weren’t sure if it’d be safe but walking along the narrow part was very minimal). The owners were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable."
"We love Amber Lantern! Tom is an amazing host and kind and available. The property is clean and neat and offers anything you can need: for grilling, firepit, swimming at the pool, ping pong, volleyball, you name it. We also can walk to the stables next door to take a trail ride. We always want to book the following year before we even leave. We stayed 7 nights. See you next summer Tom!"
"Spacious room with a very comfortable king sized bed. Best bed we have had at any of the places we've been. Clean room, we did request a change of towels earlier than they would have provided them. Tiny fridge but we didn't need it for much anyway.
Decent Continental breakfast selections. Scrambled or fried eggs, bacon or sausage patties, home fries, waffles, cereals, yogurts, bagels, toast, juices, teas, coffees, etc. Acceptable standard fare.

"There's literally nothing negative I can say, and I'm super picky when it comes to hotels. Property was very clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and there was always staff
visible. Breakfast was your usual Choice continental, well stocked and clean. Parking was convenient and free. Pool was full size and heated , well maintained pool area and hot tub. Location is perfect, walking distance to all the touristy stuff Lake George has to offer. This was our 3rd or 4th year coming up...
