I found the owners very welcoming and other guests very friendly. Close to the highway, local restaurants and an amazing sporting goods and deli store, it had the peace I was looking for and the ease of getting to other locations in the ADK. My dog loved it as well.

The cabin was very quaint, with a wonderful "outdoors" vibe/ decor. It was very clean. The owners were quite personable and helpful in answering any questions we had regarding points of interest to explore. The only suggestion to other travelers I would have is that they might want to consider bringing their own pillows if possible.

Nice little country cabin not too far from village of Chestertown or Lake George. Quiet and clean. Nice area if you want to have a campfire and have fellow travelers join in if that's something that interests you. We didn't stay long at the cabin as we were doing other activities, but it was a nice play to stay and the owners are very lovely.

Charming old fashion Adirondack rustic style / decor individual small cabins (also has motel-styled rooms) - parking either in front of rooms or between cabins, a couple of minutes outside Chestertown, NY, 30 minutes from Schroon Lake, and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga (StarTrek Museum & Fort). Very nice, friendly, and accomidating owners / operators. Breakfast / coffee place "Two Sparrows" 5 minutes down the road. Driveway very well lite / marked at night, although wish those lights had either dimmed or turned off post midnight for a better / darker sleep . . . As it was a very wet / rainy, and cold night - heat worked very qickly / well and found extra pillows and blanket. Plenty of hot water in sink / shower, soap, shampoo, small college refrigerator and microwave provided, however no hairdryer for partner . . . Did not test WiFi as we only stayed for 8 hours total time. Would have wished to have had more time to explore grounds and Chestertown itself.

We attended the Warrensburg Largest Garage Sale Weekend. The Motel is only 20 minutes away from the event. Located near Chestertown so you can go out to eat or grab groceries at the local Grocery Store. Motel is Dog Friendly and we did not have any issues with the Wi-Fi.

As a first-time visitor, the lady manager was extremely helpful in coordinating our check-in and credit card payment. She also arranged our room 's powder needs. She is also a very friendly /owner hostess.

This was to us a fantastic place to stay, Norleen and Bert the owners are the friendliest people plus their adorable dog, they go out of there way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, if we are ever back in lake George this will be our go to place, the cabin is small but spotless and the bed is so comfortable!! there is nothing bad to say about Pine Tree Motel!! A plus too they have bbq area around the back and a campfire and children play area, it’s a A in my book!!!

Everything You Need w/o the Fuss

Really cute place with super friendly owners. Norma is very sweet and accommodating. This is a quaint, no frills cabin that has exactly what you need with a down-home feel. The fire pit is lit every night out back with ample room to sit and enjoy the scenery or chat with anyone who may stop to sit. Lawn games are available and it's conveniently located to many of the area attractions and eateries. Had a great time!

We truly enjoyed our short stay at the Pine Wood Cabins! It was extraordinarily hot outdoors this summer July 4th holiday, but along with a cool shower, our small cabin’s air conditioning made it very comfortable after a long day’s drive there from NYC. The cabins sit independently for privacy with a space for your vehicle. Our cabin was clean, stocked with toiletries and we were able to connect to the WiFi with ease and our television was cable ready. On the grounds, we experienced very peaceful mornings, people drinking their coffee on the porch. We would return afternoons to see some folks grilling their food, while small children played outside. The nights were very calm quiet, and the property was beautifully lit for added safety. The hosts here are the owners of the property, and seem to give individual attention to their guests in our experience. They introduced themselves and are genuinely sweet and friendly people. They gave us suggestions on where to eat and directions to different locations. We enjoyed getting to know them a bit personally which you don’t get at the big chain style hotels. Angela met and pet our dog and wanted him to be as comfortable there as we were! We would certainly stay there again as this was our first trip to the Adirondacks region. We thank them for a lovely stay!
