"We really enjoyed our stay at The Yarrow hotel. The building is impressive, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food very good. We had a standard double room, which was adequate with everything you needed in it. The only downside was that the bed was a really small double , so we didn’t sleep that well. Other than that, we would recommend the hotel. It has easy access to the town and sea front - 5 to 10 minute walk. We would stay there again, but would choose a room with a bigger bed."

"To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. "

"Staff could not be more helpful and were always happy & willing to talk to guests. Food in restaurant was exactly what I have come to expect from Shepherd Neame Hotels and Pubs. I had room on 1st floor with access to roof terrace which had an excellent view of Viking Bay and the Sea. I found room very quiet at night with only the sound of the sea to be heard in the background. "

"This hotel is located very close to several restaurants. We easily walk to one each night. The staff upon arrival were frustrated and seemed to take it out on us. When booking with Expedia you can't use the check in kiosk at any Premier Inn. They only had one computer working and were irritated and had no immediate solution of how to pay for parking without a reservation number to place at the parking meter.
