"The property had a really great front desk appeal but that’s where it ended. It looked like a motel. The room lighting was dark, the towels were rough and had loose strings like they were old. The hallway leading up to the room had no appeal. The room was small just a bed, a mini closet, a tiny desk, a hook for your coat. The walls were scratched and needed painting. The decorative pillows had seen many years. The bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom not like a hotel bathroom. I was generally disappointed since I do not like to vacation in a motel. It was a last minute decision since the hotel we were supposed to stay in had trouble with our reservation. The area in which the hotel is located was in Weesp 25 minutes from city center of Amsterdam. "

"We skipped the breakfast which we had included in our price, because there were MICE running around. The place should not been operating with a rodent problem like this."

"Hotel is great and well located. Check in confusing. Key card sent to the phone but I never got any specifics to that fact and I could only sort this out with a phone call once onsite. Otherwise great place. "

"I stayed in this hotel for one night without breakfast. The check in receptionist in the evening was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and was spotlessly clean!!! Well done to the cleaner(s). That standard of clean is much appreciated. A small issue with not being able to turn the TV off as the remote control was missing, which the night staff sorted. Overall a very pleasant stay. "

"Large comfortable room, with large bathroom - mine had a bath and shower over (although i couldn't get the plug to seal for a bath) Coffee machine and kettle in the room. Large bed Ate in adjoining bierkeller one evening - great beer and food was very tasty"

"This hotel will be our new home from home. We tried different hotels in the area in the past. It is elegant, clean, great staff, and a lovely restaurant downstairs. We stayed in Unit 10, which has a loft with a beautiful bathtub and high ceilings. The double head shower was fantastic as well. We seriously don't have anything bad to say about this hotel and highly recommend it. If you are worried about the lack of a receptionist desk, which I was, don't be! The door keys will be on my our phone before you arrive. If you have any concerns you just go down to the restaurant, tell any staff member, and it's resolved immediately. Great service."

"The NH Bussum Jan Tabak is a comfortable and quiet hotel set in a peaceful area. The rooms and facilities are clean, though the decor feels a bit dated. One of the highlights is the calm atmosphere, great for a good night’s sleep and the bed was very comfortable. There is plenty of parking available, which is convenient if you’re traveling by car. The lobby is pleasant, and the piano bar adds a nice touch for a relaxed evening drink. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, especially if you value quiet surroundings and convenience."

"House was clean, with a nice private back yard, and conveniently close to train station, park, grocery store, and a couple eateries. Host was very accommodating and easy to get in contact with when questions arose."
