"Lovely hotel with great restaurant in the walled town of Naarden. We had a magical one night stay on a bicycling trip before our return to Amsterdam."

"This is our favorite place to stay before an early flight from Schiphol. Beautiful area and great restaurant voetangel at walking distance."

"Our stay at De Durgerdam was fantastic from beginning to end. Set in a beautiful historic house just outside Amsterdam, this boutique hotel has a unique personality, blending old-world charm with elegant, intimate design. Its peaceful setting makes it a wonderful escape from the bustle of the city. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, take in the surroundings, and truly enjoy every moment. We absolutely loved our room: beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and full of lovely details....

"This is an immaculate well staffed hotel that is of the highest quality. From the architectural renovation of the old medical building to the comfort of the beds and the calm park setting. The concierge service was highly informative and showed us the gems of the city. We had the best time at this property. These people love this place … and there is a stunning Picasso in the bar (44/50 print)."

After looking at the photos of the inn on Expedia, we chose to stay at the Abbey Abcoude, as it seemed close enough to Schipol without being right at the airport. The taxi to Abcoude is pricey, but we discovered the next day that the train is a short walk away from the inn and only involves one...

"The digital check in experience was new for us, but all flowed smoothly and the emails back and forth were efficient and helpful. We loved our stay, the inside, above the restaurant was gorgeous (and de eendracht itself is beautiful ). Thank you so much, would love to stay again"

"Localisation parfaite seul point positif. Équipement de la cuisine plus que sommaire (pas de saladier, passoire, manique, dessous de plat...des choses de base). Pas de porte aux toilettes (intimité ?) douche dans la chambre avec ventilation très bruyante. Les 4 fenêtres de la pièce principale ne s ouvrent pas ce qui était anxiogène. On me répond que c est parce que le bâtiment est classé mais les fenêtres des chambres de l étage s ouvrent !! La climatisation de la chambre ne permet pas de...
