"Room was comfortable, clear, pleasant. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bar/restaurant was ok. Cook was out but they still provided food service. Very nice staff. Good people, good service, far price. Parts of facility need updating but not necessary today in my opinion. Good overall for the price. Happy with the stay."

"What a beautiful little piece of paradise! This cabin was everything we hoped for and more. We came to Alpena for a very meaningful weekend, and it was exactly the peaceful getaway we needed.The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home with our fur babies. The views were absolutely breathtaking! From waking up to the sound of waves crashing along the shoreline to enjoying gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and incredible stargazing at night, it was truly a special place to unwind and recharge.The owners were wonderful hosts! They checked in to make sure we were comfortable and even offered flexibility with early check-in and late checkout, which we really appreciated.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We made beautiful memories during our stay and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing escape along Lake Huron!"
